Find Fellowships

Note: This handout contains outdated information!

A new handout is being developed. In the meantime, please check with the Office about deadlines, etc.

The Office of Fellowships is a service of Undergraduate Studies for all KU undergraduates. We are proud to help students interested in pursuing national scholarship opportunities. Many of the most prestigious awards require KU nomination or coordination either through this office or through other KU units.

There are an amazing number of fellowships and scholarships available for students at different stages, in different majors, and with different backgrounds. The flowchart here will help you get started thinking about the kinds of awards you might want to pursue. (Note: up-to-date handout in preparation -- check with us for deadlines!)

Other scholarships are sought independently, but Dr. Anne Wallen, Program Director of the Office of Fellowships, can offer guidance on these applications as well. Fill out this Interest Form to let her know you're ready to get started.

You can also follow Dr. Wallen on twitter @fellowshipsKU for regular updates on national scholarships and fellowship opportunities.
