Undergraduate Research

Research experience is often a key component of successful scholarship applications. The KU Center for Undergraduate Research can help you get started. The Center offers a two major  funding opportunities.

  • Undergraduate Research Awards: $1,000 scholarships to fund your research or creative project.  Offered every semester.
  • Student Travel Awards: Up to $500 to pay for students to travel to professional conferences to present their research.  Offered every semester, awarded each month.
