A Unit of Academic Success

NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program

The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program funds U.S.-citizen students in or entering research-focused Master’s or Ph.D. programs in NSF supported fields. Fellowships pay $34,000 per year plus a $12,000 cost-of-education allowance over three years (usable in a five-year fellowship period).

In 2020, we are launching a new online learning module so students can learn about the NSF-GRFP at their own pace. Please visit Jayhawk Ready and log in to access the "Pathway," clicking on "Experiential Learning" and then "Fellowships."

National deadlines in late October.
