Schedule an Appointment

The Office of Fellowships is excited to partner with our colleagues in the University Career Center to provide online appointment scheduling via the "HireJayhawks" platform. Starting December 14, 2020, there is a new procedure for starting an online appointment (see point 2 below).

1. Log on to HireJayhawks with your KU online ID and password. Select "Office of Fellowships" as appointment type, then check availability and request an appointment.

If this is your first time using HireJayhawks, you will need to fill out a brief profile. Once you get to the "Resume Builder" section, you can go back to select "Request an Appointment" on the left panel. Then, choose "Schedule an Appointment." When you select a type of appointment, choose "Fellowships Advising," then a date and time range.

Be aware that there may be no available appointments for the current week, so be sure to check subsequent weeks.

You can opt for either in-person or Zoom appointments.

2. Your appointment will be approved by an administrator.

For online appointments: at the time of your appointment, log in to HireJayhawks.com.

On the upper right side of your screen there is a "Reminders" section marked with a bell icon. Click on the link for the appointment and "check in." You will start in the Waiting Room of a Zoom session.

For in-person appointments: check in using the iPad kiosk in the University Career Center, Summerfield Hall Room 203. We will come get you for your appointment from there!

If you're unable to find any appointments that match your avaialability, please either visit our Office Hours (Wednesdays 3-5 pm in the Office of Fellowships Microsoft Teams when classes are in session) or email fellowships@ku.edu with detailed information about days and times that you are available. Office of Fellowships staff will be in touch soon to help find a time for your meeting.

3. Before your first meeting, you should fill out this student interest form

If you require in-person services or access to physiclal materials/resources, please email us at fellowships@ku.edu for information on how to make an in-person appointment.
